    thank you for believing in me. since i am the first one to respond, i know the video was “just” for me 🙂 christian today working late, tomorrow working early; my trick is to have a cup in between such shifts. i forgot the latin or greek name, but i am waiting for this god right now 🙂

    Two thoughts in reply, around empathy and gratitude. Between first hearing Ross mentioning witnessing the loss of his father and the mention of it here, I had the same experience. There is no more powerful in-your-face reminder of your own mortality than watching a parent take a last breathe and the lights go out. What unites humanity is we are all going over the Falls, sooner or later. Ruminating on yesterday’s scripts or action is the choice. Second, gratitude, thanks for a simple, motivational message. Right back at you – I believe in you. Looking forward to seeing you in London this year or next. Regards, Matt
