Mel Gibson should check out some reruns of a TV show called ‘NYPD Blue’

For those of you who have not heard of this show (which ran from 1993-2005), the main character was Detective Andy Sipowicz… who, to say the least, was not an AFC in how he did his job.

Problem was, in his personal life and with women, he was a train wreck.  When we first meet Andy, he’s a longtime alcoholic, about to lose his career and estranged from his son.  He sought solace in booze and hookers.

Now, the Sipowicz story is legendary – bald, overweight, middle-aged Everyman twice marries much younger, hotter women, has several encounters with other hotties between the two marriages, and has women chasing him throughout.  I could write a book.  But for this article, I’m only going to deal with his seduction of Sylvia (the “pissy little bitch” I talk about below.)

In the very first scene, we see Andy Sipowicz humiliated on the witness stand when it’s revealed he slashed a mobster’s tires so he could see in the guy’s trunk without a warrant.  When the district attorney prosecuting the case shares her “concern” with Sipowicz because his misbehavior got her case thrown out, his response to her:

(while grabbing his crotch) “Hey, ipsa this you pissy little bitch!”

After a life-changing experience (getting shot by a hit-man during a tryst with his favorite hooker), Sipowicz gets sober by default (Mr. Daniels and  Mr. Beam don’t work at the ICU).

Now seeing clearly, he gets his career back on track, rebuilds his relationship with his son…and eventually asks Sylvia out to dinner.  When she expresses shock and asks why she would want to have dinner with HIM of ALL people, he says “I don’t know, you do or you don’t.”

She decides she does.

Soon, they become an item, and after several delays due to things that “keep coming up” at Andy’s apartment, she spends the night at his place.

What happens next?

Then it’s time to meet her family.  At a birthday party, where the liquor flows as freely as the laughter.  Testing himself, Sipowicz takes a drink.  Then another.  Cut to later that night when he throws Sylvia out in a drunken rage where all his demons (anger, hate, prejudice, self-loathing – sound familiar?) come out.

Over the next several months, Sipowicz gets more serious about self improvement.  He attends AA meetings and works with a sponsor.  Through persistent outreach he starts rebuilding his relationship with his son.  With the support of his partners, as well as a boss who proves more understanding than Sipowicz expected, he works on his negative attitudes and stereotypes and becomes more open and receptive.

Eventually, he creates another chance with Sylvia.  This time, he doesn’t blow it.  They get married, and at age 48 he becomes a father again.  A second chance at the life that, until recently, he never thought he’d have.

Now, why should Mel Gibson take note?

Here’s why Andy Sipowicz went from “hope-to-die drunk” to fulfilled man with a solid girl-getting game, while Mel keeps sliding in the opposite direction.

• Rather than dwelling on the past and beating himself up, Sipowicz accepts his own past behavior without passing judgment.  He applies lessons from it that help him become a better man.  (Over and over women tell him: “I know who you WERE.  And that’s an important part of how you became who you ARE.”)
• Sipowicz kept postponing Sylvia’s first visit to his apartment because he was unsure of his girl-getting game (he couldn’t remember the last time he had sex sober).  Whatever was tripping his inner game, though, turned out it wouldn’t have stopped her from wanting him anyway.
• Getting sober, and his initial experiences with Sylvia showed him he COULD succeed with women who, up until that point, may or may not have given him the time of day.  He subsequently uses this as an anchor to “pull himself back” when his path to betterment takes an unexpected turn (like when he briefly starts drinking again after Andy Jr., also a policeman, is killed in the line of duty).

P.S. Andy Sipowicz was not “runway model handsome” and he had a “past” that was less than desirable (with some ongoing areas for improvement) but there are enough women who liked him that it didn’t matter.  It was really his “inner game” that had him “tripping on his Johnson.”  Learn how he turned things around, and how YOU can, too.

My Ten Steamy Days With A Swedish Sex Kitten, Part III



Were it not for one crucial principle for success with women that I exercised with Pernilla back in London, none of the wonderful experiences that followed would ever have happened.



She never would have come out to LA, I never would have discovered how deeply wonderful she truly is; what an amazing and delightful surprise she continues to be in my life.

Now, many of you have gone Mr. Nilsson bananas over my teaching of phonetic ambiguity, linguistic patterns of speaking, etc. etc. etc.



And while all of those things are, in the proper context, important components of what I teach, the far more important aspects are about the attitudes and vibes that make men attractive to women.

There are actually four vibes/attitudes that make men attractive to women, but for purposes of this blog post, I’m only going to discuss one-the crucial one-in this case. And that’s being dominant and a strong leader.



Let me define my terms: I did not say “domineering”. “Domineering” goes beyond setting a strong lead and into the realm of having a rude disregard for the needs, feelings and concerns of others. As well, “domineering” calls to mind and incorporates elements of being punitive, and using negative emotions like shame, guilt and fear.



So to make it clear: I detest humans of any gender who walk through the world like this. I have a bit of compassion for them too, because most people who behave this way really don’t know any better; it was what was modeled for them as children, so this is the emotional filter through which they see their world.

But someone who is dominant-a leader- sets the direction and the path, and at the same time knows how to listen and discern the concerns, needs and feelings of those under his lead and his protection. He weighs them both and from their decides how to proceed.



I have said this over and over and over to my students: anyone under your influence is also under your protection, and you have a duty to protect that is commeasurate with your influence.

In Pernilla’s case, the crucial moment actually came during my London seminar, where, as you will recall, she had attended along with some German guy who invited her.



At one point, I called for female volunteer to come up on stage for me to work with and demonstrate some of the language tools I teach. I pointed to Pernilla and asked her to come up.

She turned beet red, and strongly but politely said “no”.



At that point, one of my more vocal students, an Irish guy who had some “boundary” issues, turned around and started cajoling her. “C’mon..come up! Come on!”





Some of the other students joined in, and at that point, I put my foot down.

I told them all to knock it off immediately. “It’s her choice” I said. “I don’t brow-beat anyone to come up her and I’ll be damned if I allow any of you to brow beat one of my guests. I’m not of a mind to give a gift to someone who isn’t of a mind to eagerly accept, so her answer is “no”and that’s it”.

And I meant every word of it; as my guest, Pernilla was under my protection. While it would have served my outcome as a teacher to have her on stage(and I believe she would have had a great experience), as the person who was in the lead, I had an obligation to protect her and to respect her wish not to be on stage.

And I also really meant the part about offering a gift; I did truly believe that the opportunity to learn about her feelings, her imagination, and what she could (and later would) experience with me was an amazing gift. You don’t have to sell a gift; you simply offer it. If you have to sell it, it ceases to be a gift and becomes, at best, a bonus.



Later, when she was out here in LA, we discussed that moment, as I properly intuited that this had been a big turning point in her trusting me. She said that, at that moment, she felt and saw that I was willing to stand up for her against the entire class, even if it meant I couldn’t give the demonstration that I had wanted to, and at that moment, she knew I’d continue to protect her and that she could trust me.

I didn’t shame her, or try to persuade her in any fashion, or even ask more than once. I made the offer and let her truly have her choice. But I did it in a way that demonstrated that however she chose to open and learn with and from me, I’d continue to protect her and keep her safe, even if it momentarily meant I wasn’t going to get what I had planned or wanted.

Thank God for that choice. Because Pernilla has turned out to be a wonderful, joyous, live-affirming surprise who continues to surprise me. And since I know for a fact she’s reading this blog, let me just say, “M., I love you. And I’m very happy you’ve come into my life.”

Ten Steamy Days With A 19 Year Old Swede, Part II

Lest you think I am a filthy, piggish, exploiter of young ladies, let me hit the ground running by telling you the following: I actually find myself deeply missing “Pernilla”.

Making a list of her endearing qualities, here is what I wrote this morning in my seduction journal: fun, giving, sexual, affectionate, smart as hell, adventurous, loving, kind, adventurous, curious, independent thinker, curious, open to all sorts of new learning, supportive , stylish, gorgeous, socially adept, fantastic in bed, wonderful kisser, fantastic sense of touch, funny as hell, loves my cats, flexible in attitude, easy going, strong willed, knows how and when to take the lead, engaging, has gorgeous speaking voice/accent, zero emotional baggage/emotionally open, healthy emotionally and mentally and physically.



Fans, foes and those who are neutral, I have seldom met any woman with such and so many endearing qualities here in La-la land. And waking up to a flawless young body, without a sag or a wrinkle, mine to touch, taste, savor and pleasure…ahhh! All you bitter, washed-up, hagged-out, baggage-ladened, siliconized, therapy-addicted, LA drama queens can kiss my kosher kishkas.

Now listen; Pernilla was a bit reticent about coming out here. After all, she had only had a short time with me, knew no one in the USA, had never been here, and all of her friends, without exception, plus her parents and step-parents told her NOT to come out.

Sure, she was excited at the adventure of it, and the danger of it. But she faced an extreme amount of social pressure not to come. And she had some of her own fears as well.

Do you think I spent a lot of time trying to further convince her or talk her into coming out, once we had the tickets bought and we had both agreed and decided?

If so, you have little or no understanding of what seduction is about in general or what seduction/attraction with very young women is really all about.

You see, a huge part of mutually winning and mutually enjoying this game(that is to say, having an outcome where both you AND the young lady are very grateful for the experience) is to make sure that you select and screen for young women who are independently minded.



That is, while they may strongly take into account what their friends and family say, ultimately they are determined to make up their own minds and take responsibility for their own decisions and adventures.

They must be independently minded, and have a strong sense of adventure, even to the point where they actually enjoy going against the normal grain.

I’ll never forget yet another California Pizza Kitchen waitress about 20 years my junior with whom I had a brief affair. (Thank God for CPK; their corporate motto is “ROCK: Respect, Opportunity, Communication, Kindness. I personally think it stands for Ross’ Orgasms Created Kindly)

All of her co-workers warned her about me. “He’ll get your pants down in minutes.” “He’s a hypnotist; he’ll get you in bed in an hour” “He’ll try to control you sexually”



She laughed it all off and told me that it actually made her more eagerly to get with me. She said that she told them: “I’m a big girl and can take care of myself. Let’s see what he’s got”.

Can you get with young women who are not so independently minded and adventurous and curious? Sure, with a lot of work, or a lot of alcohol(which I refuse to do, absolutely-I want my women sober for many reasons).

But remember the outcome; it has to be enjoyable for both of you and something you can both look back on with joy and gratitude.

Bottom line: as with all women, selection of the right play partner is crucial. With young women, it is utterly crucial
