I recently got a letter from a student who has been talking to a girl for about three months now. He tells me he’s been keeping things mostly casual, running patterns or pieces of patterns here and there and just structuring his language in a better way then what he believes the typical Average Frustrated Chump (AFC) would.

But from what I gather, he really has not been working that hard though. She gives him lots of signs that she likes him, such as texting him about 50 times a day, remembering virtually everything he ever says to her, going out of her way to see him, etc. He tells me she always wants more when he runs a pattern on her, but he pulls back and makes her work for it, like he’s “teasing” her.

He wonders why he hasn’t scored with this chick yet, after three months.

Let’s dissect this.

Uh…first of all, what part of the “Speed” in “Speed Seduction®” did he miss?

The minute I see something like this, I already know what the problem is. This is a thinking that is focused more on not making mistakes than it is on doing what will work.

Guys, here is the real problem with this “talk to a girl for 3 months” approach: it is more focused on getting the girl than it is ON MASTERING THE SKILLS.

Instead, think in terms of every woman you meet as being an opportunity to help someone feel a bit better about their day AND ANOTHER STEP TOWARDS MASTERY OF YOUR SKILLS.

I think this student, and any guy in this situation, would benefit a great deal from reviewing their beliefs about learning. Here are three good ones:

1. ***I*** decide what I learn from every person, event, situation, and action in my life. ****I**** decide what meaning I give things.
2. I will either enjoy the process of getting what I want (or better) or I will enjoy getting what I want (or better) or BOTH.
3. When I don’t know what to do, I take a bold step forward.

So as far as this chick, what are you waiting FOR? An engraved invitation? I think you know what they say about “those who wait.”

I’ve heard the objection many times. Some people say that the girl-getting patterns and phrases I teach smart guys to use when getting a woman irresistibly aroused are so obvious that chances are, the guy will get “busted” and “shot down.”

Like, the use of emphasis and nonverbal cues that I teach you to use while saying “it’s on” and “below me” for example. Today I was asked this question by a student:

Many of your methods are so “obvious” that chicks can tell what a guy is doing, so he “gets caught” and she has a negative reaction.

For example, your method of stacking realities with quotes of alluring sexual content — she KNOWS what I’m doing and why I’m saying it, so she doesn’t buy into it when I do the “weasel phrases” or position it as something “someone else” saw or read someplace. No, she blames me for being a pervert.

How can I calibrate the interaction so I know if I will get a negative reaction? Can I counter-object and “save the Sarge”?

I’ll let two of my students answer this one.

At my Speed Seduction® 3.0 Seminar in Los Angeles, we discussed this question and one of my students said something I couldn’t argue about.

When the woman noticed his innuendo and asked what he was up to, with a friendly smile he matter-of-factly told her, “Right! It’s called ‘flirting’ and it’s what a man does when he meets a woman he’s into.” (Note how even in his retort, he plants a suggestion.)

The woman who “caught him” shrugged and said with a little grin, “Oh ok…I was just asking.” By staying true to who he is and what he gives to the world, this student was able to resume the Sarge without skipping a beat.

During a conversation with a sexy woman about reality TV shows on getting women, another student mentioned my name as a leading pick-up artist. The woman said, “Oh, I know who Ross Jeffries is. Do you actually DO that stuff? Waaaaait a minnnute … you DO do that stuff! I can TELL!”

My student’s response: “As someone who knows what they want when they see it in front of them, doesn’t it make sense to get more of what you want? If I wanted a woman who is perfect for me and vice versa, wouldn’t I be doing both of us a favor by learning all there is to know about making you happy?”

She agreed and dropped the subject.

No, actually, she asked about Speed Seduction® again.

At 3:00 AM, with a dreamy grin on her face, after a steaming-hot two-hour makeout session with the guy, is when she asked.

Don’t let little objections get in your way. Counter them with truth and integrity and use my teaching to claim more of who you want in your life (and in your bed).

In my one-on-one teaching with students, I often run into the many ways guys get tripped up by what they were incorrectly taught before. But something is holding me back from calling them and getting them to surrender themselves to me.

It’s like the feeling of not knowing what’s on the other side of the room, or not knowing the outcome that I am really looking for. At the same time, it’s like rejecting myself by not moving forward to do something about it. Can someone explain how I can “break out” of this and take things to the next level?

Let me ask again. When you approach a woman, why is your end game to get her number? Why not go for the whole enchilada, then and there?

The goal of Speed Seduction® is getting her invested and involved in the erotic interaction with you, right from the start, in the first two minutes of conversation. Doing the approach in hopes of getting the phone number squanders the opportunity.

Dear Speed Seduction® Student,

It would be safe to say that I get some of the most interesting “fan mail” you could imagine.

Most of it is from people praising the brilliance of my work and offering thanks for what it has done for them. And I’m grateful for that.

Occasionally there is the request for free stuff, which I almost always turn down. (But make up a good story I’ve never heard before and who knows-you might get some free courses. But be warned-I’ve heard them all)

The ones I find most interesting are the hostile ones and the cries for help.

The hostile ones are usually filled with spelling-errors, grammatical mistakes, and vile suggestions about my ancestry, ethnicity, and personal anatomy.

The cries for help are sometimes overwhelming and always humbling. It would be no exaggeration to say that many guys are at the end of their proverbial rope when it comes to this issue of success with women.

So what do I say to that guy who has been crushed by his wife of 20 years having an affair and walking out on him, taking the kids with her too? What do I say to that guy who just turned 30 and has never had a girlfriend in his life?

The first thing I tell them is that everything they’ve been through up to this moment of writing me is true, real and valid. I don’t try to talk down or minimize their pain, fear and frustration. Nor do I give them trite, enraging advice like, “Look on the bright side” or “You’ll find someone”.

The next thing I tell them is this: everything you’ve experienced up until now was based on the tools, information, technology and ways of thinking you’ve had up until now. Change any of those things, and you’ll get much different results.

Anyone who had the tools, technology, information and ways of thinking you’ve had up until now would have gotten the same results you’ve gotten and could not have done any better.

Then I tell them this: what’s possible for a person with the right tools, technology, information and ways of thinking would seem like magic to someone who doesn’t have them. Just think of a primitive tribesman in some rainforest in Brazil who has never seen an airplane. If you told them you could get across their entire country in 2 hours, they’d laugh at you.

Usually that begins to create just enough doubt in their prior conviction that they are hopeless that I can get some leverage into their mind and explain what really works with women, as opposed to what they’ve been stuck thinking and doing. And then I recommend my Triple Threat Offer (which you can read about in this link).

But you know, this weekend, at my niece’s wedding, I heard a metaphor that really struck me. I’m going to share it with those “cries for help” guys from now on, and I’d like to share it with you. It’s about the power of the human spirit to be remade, reshaped, and renewed no matter how seemingly broken.

You see, at a Jewish wedding, one of the final bits of ceremony is that the groom steps on a glass and breaks it. There are many interpretations of what this symbolic act means.

But the Rabbi at my niece’s wedding explained it like this. “The human spirit-a person’s life-is like a glass. No matter how seemingly broken, smashed to pieces or shattered apart, glass can always be gathered up, re-melted, and shaped into something beautiful again.”

Now that metaphor really struck me. And you know, in the work I’ve done, I’ve seen it to be true.

I’ve seen guys who thought their divorce was the worst nightmare, only to see later how they’d been set free to use these wonderful tools to enjoy happiness, success and satisfaction with women of a quality they’d never imagined they could have.

I’ve seen guys go from suicidal despair to dancing with joy at how happy the women in their lives are making them.

I guess I now have a new metaphor for my own job: glass smelter and glass maker. But don’t you dare call me a glass “blower” or we are going to have problems.
