I am not too far from your age (19) and bought Ross' products whilst in HS. He does have an option for many of his products to pay it over a 60-day time-frame. You should probably get the home study course first before SS 3.0. Also gold walkup DVD I got for only $30 which is excellent beginner.

Also, let me correct you: men and women don't go to highschool.. or even college for that matter: boys and girls do ;)

But HS was pretty frustrating for me as well as I was constantly dead tired and had lots of anxiety and confusion. Things are mucccchhhh better now though!

I never knew that. I don't have a credit card so I may have to wait to put all of it on a debit card. Right now I have just been feeding off of the free stuff on this site and YouTube. I am glad that someone can understand my pain other than myself. I honestly wanna improve. It is really annoying to see some asshole who is shorter than you with his fat seeping out of his chair getting more "tang" in 30 minutes than I have ever gotten in my entire life. The longest conversation I ever had with an attractive girl or woman was about 5 minutes and I barely held my end of the conversation. Even my own friends (don't have any female friends) and family think I am a failure with women. Imagine how bad it is to hear something like that come out of your own parents (my parents love me, they were just being honest.)

I came across a book called The Game two summers ago when a co-worker recommended it to me after hearing my problems. I have been researching for the last 1.5 years the seduction community. I hated the ideas of negs and having to change your looks and clothes to get women so I stopped looking at MM or VA. I originally thought bad of SS until I looked it up. I thought it was manipulation and hypnosis but it is quite the opposite. The ideas of the seduction community have changed my outlook on life and taught me more about people in general. I still lack the confidence needed to succeed. All I know is that I am the only one who can make me succeed.

Ross did answer one of my questions at an online seminar recommending Nail Your Inner Game and Magik Psychic Influence but I think I need basic training first with the home study course. The best way to learn would be to attend a seminar. He has one in NY next month. Even though NYC is a short train ride away, I cannot afford to go. I don't have a steady job and have my money saved at my local game store for the big games coming out this year. Bad mistake. If you're only getting like 4 hours of sleep a night.. You can forget about banging hot girls. At your age you should be getting like 9.5 hours and be waking up accordingly to your natural circadian rhythms. Also, how is your diet? Ross is one of the only one's to mention about blood-sugar levels and proper dieting in his blog (even though he only mentioned it a couple times).

Good sleep, nutrition, exercise, and all that are all necessary for learning. I try to aim for a high-fiber, whole grain, and protein diet. I eat Taco Bell though almost everyday now, however. (just a couple tacos.. it's good!)

I remember writing my mother notes before I hit the sack to let me sleep in because I couldn't fall asleep and needed the sleep for school. She almost always obeyed and let me sleep in! It was awesome because that day at school I learned more in my studies and interacting with girls. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I could pull off such a technique of letter-writing until my senior year!

Of course, most parents are not so lenient.

But I did fail a couple classes (the early morning ones) because I never attended them and didn't care (they were art and computer classes). But, at least I got A's in math and science!

I would have to agree that MM/VA is more about having "surface" traits and putting on somewhat of a façade or persona of being the "alpha-male". While I do choose to dress nicely and aim for noticeable style, I wouldn't consider I do much 'peacocking' or dress up in a Halloween costume. I like to look slick (but casual) and clean when going to social events or street sargin' because it feels natural to me and I feel good about myself and all self-consciousness dissipates because I know I look like a fuckin' sex-god! ;-) (like Michael Lucas)

The thing about your stage (and still really mine also) is its primarily about finding your identity and understanding your sexuality. Don't worry if you're still a virgin right now (I still was at your age). And Ross went something like 7 years well into his twenties without a single tickle of pink flesh against his rod..

Before going to a seminar, I would recommend just sticking with his video courses because they are waaay cheaper, you keep them forever, and you learn a ton!! (I still can't afford his seminars, yet!)

Wow. U made a lot of interesting points. It is interesting that we had or have very different sticking points. Yours was attraction and mine is just even getting a woman to start talking to me. I have a car I can use but I don't have my lisense just yet. Hopefully will have it in 2-3 months. Unlike you, I have to go to school on time no matter what. My parents are pretty strict about that. My diet is not bad although there are maybe 1 or 2 changes I can make. Good point that a healthy body and mind can make me succeed. I believe I do understand my identity and my sexuality. Forget having sex, I've never even touched a woman. Even if I girl shook my hand, that would be the next big step lmao. No girl in my school won't ever take me seriously so I gotta go to shopping malls, book stores, yougurt shop, teen clubs (if there are some in my area) and any place with women. From all the videos I've watched, I probably already have enough to work with and be successful. I just lack the confidence to do so. My goal now is to find a way to build it up.

That was a great analogy you made when referring to mindsets. The only way I can learn pickup is to actually do it and learn from my sucesses and failures. I am so thrilled to have support from actual successful SS students. My goal for my pickup skills is to be 100% respectful to the woman and intensly fractionate and arouse her with my words in order to attract her. I feel sticking points for me will be opening which I will get over after doing it once and keeping a conversation moving which can only be fixed with practice. The biggest one however will be my body language and tone. I usually tense up and start to sweat around a beautiful woman. My voice gets shaky and soft. I have to learn how to control it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to control it?

The Magick PI and Nail your inner game courses will give you tools to do that, but dont wait til you get them. My advice is if you see a pretty lady dont try to seduce her, just go talk to her about something neutral. Ask for directions, her opinion on something around you, whatever you'd like. Get used to talking to women, and it'll be much easier for you to progress.
Its not about what you do, its about who you are. Took me four years to understand this, but when I did... I'll never forget the first time I was walking and chatting with the girl and in the next minute I was going "Holy shit shes putting my hand on her breast!"

thanks for the advice Gabe. That is what I wanna do. I just gotta go out and do things one small step at a time. First start with opening and once I get good at doing it, go on to the next thing. I think your right. A smart way to get used to talking to women is only by talking to women possibly without the goal of getting a number, a kiss or more. Even my uncle today during dinner said I gotta go for it otherwise, it could mess up my head and make me depressed as it is doing now. I gotta get a girl soon. Only going out, practicing, and learning from my failures (I am sure there will be many) will make me succeed. Just from the free stuff, I think I have enough to get out there and make it happen. It looks easy but theres so many sneaky patterns inside, tease, push and pull, leading, compliance tests so over all u gain control over her without her giving u chance to reject you, because everything happens so quickly, and before she wonders whats happening shes already enjoying it.
