It's really something the way that individuals are societally programmed to go about in a haze and solve problems through methods that just don't work.

I've often been annoyed by people who say, “JUST THINK POSITIVE!” It's ridiculous.

As a friend of mine once said to another friend when she stated, “I think I've lost my mind!”

He retorted, “You'll never find it that way! YOU'VE GOT TO SET A TRAP!”

Sometimes that “trap” is meditation and visualization. Sometimes its through reformed behaviors. But think you can will yourself to stop dysfunctional mental processes that have developed tremendous psychic momentum after YEARS of continuous pattern is just plain immaturity and arrogance.
