Dear Speed Seduction Student,
Me and my nephew were at the Starbucks, sitting near a hot med student.
We just start chatting with her. Then I talked about how Starbucks can be a great place to people watch and how I noticed the funniest thing the other day.
I went into a story about a young mother and her 3 year old daughter. She handed her daughter a cookie and the kid got this HUUUUGE smile on her face… bit into the cookie with gusto… crumbs sprayed everywhere and she said, “MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM”.
(The med student laughed and said, “That’s how I eat a cookie!”)
I said, “Isn’t it interesting how, as children, even the simplest things bring so much pleasure? As adults we can get jaded and not realize how even……
…….small things can bring so much pleasure and so much fun”.
“But then, I saw something else that was along the same lines. About 15 minutes later, this business man comes in, and he is totally stressed out and spazzing out, yelling into his stupid Bluetooth ear piece. You know, those stupid things that make you look like a Borg from Star Trek? He’s yelling, turning red in the face, totally ignoring everyone staring at him in line.
He yells his order to the girl at the counter and then something changed. He gets his coffee and he pulls a pastry out of his bag… and he looks at it… and suddenly his face changes. He takes a big bite..and he gets that big SMILE and he actually goes, “HMMMMMMMMM”.
And I thought…wow…the way we respond to our first tastes of pleasure as children..conditions how we experience ADULT PLEASURES…
I mean, adult pleasures are DIFFERENT and more complex but still…we bring some of our same sounds and faces into our experiences of pleasure as an adult.
Like…when you were little…
“Was There Some Kind Of Candy
You Really Craved?”
She said, “I liked chocolate. Not dark chocolate though.”
I said, “Yeah and now..as an adult..is there a snack you like so much… you’ll even bring it into bed, though it might make crumbs?”
She got all doggy dinner bowl and said, “Oreos. I’ll take them in bed and then I’ll open up the top, LICK the cream and then put them back together and crunch the chocolate in my mouth.”
I said, “You learn so much about people about how they indulge those cravings. People think they are all grown up, but really we have a side that wants to be babied and is a big baby.”
It’s like this article I was reading about compulsions and anticipation… both ways we indulge ourselves.
I then went into the full bore BJ pattern, right in front of my worshipful nephew!

See how questions and stories can lead to patterns and are, in fact, patterns?
I could have started this also by starting with the question about “When you were a little girl was there a candy you really craved?” and then gone to the Starbucks story or just straight to the BJ pattern.
I’ve been playing with that favorite candy when you were a little girl question and I really like the results.
It tends to get a nice age regression and drop all defenses, fast.

Brilliant, so basically, speed seduction tactics are like skillful mastery in a game of chess. Initial resistance can be defused by invoking memories of indulgence, childhood and pleasure. That’s brilliant.
