What you are about to read is a post that was made today on the member’s discussion board from a student, reporting how my advice really worked out for him.

“Last month in the mega meeting, Ross challenged me to do 10 Manny Martian walkups. I wrote out a thousand dollar check to Greenpeace and sent it to him, to seal my commitment to getting over my inability to approach.

I had till June 1st. Ross threatened to kick me off if I didn’t do it, but if I did, I’d be invited to the next SS seminar! Last night, I did 3 walkups in a 15  minute burst; tonight I did my last 2.

It started out much more difficult than I imagined. It seemed like such a simple, stupid exercise, but it was a struggle at first. I went out several times without making a single approach. I made sure to transmute my frustration and learn from every outing though, and that was the key to my success! it made it easier to get back out into the field and it showed me that I needed to add in more fun/playful energy. I reinforced the beliefs almost daily and listened to the mp3s from this site as I drove each day.

Stuff I learned:

*It does get easier with practice. Walkup #5 was easier than #1, etc.

*I didn’t have a single negative response. Most were baffled, and asked me to repeat it. They were still baffled after that. I thanked them and walked off, and they still looked baffled, lol.

*I can maintain good eye contact with HBs.

*I increased the number of smiles I do. I feel more relaxed.

* Pre-sarge rituals get better with practice too.

* Post-sarge NYIG is golden. As is keeping a sarge journal.

* No one else in the world cares what I’m up to. When the walkups are over, life goes on, no big deal.

* Ross is brilliant: his learning mindset of focusing on what was done right is such a radically different orientation. It took me a while to warm up to the idea due to cultural conditioning, but once I got it, it changed how I see myself and the world…

Cream of the crop belief that also helped changed my mindset:

“I always start at the very least, from the very best I have done so far.” I plan on generalizing this belief out to the professional areas of my life.

My next step is to increase my aggressiveness and diminish my hesitation states. It’s very random: tonight I approached the first girl right away, but the second had me hesitating. When I get into that mode, it can take forever. Anyone have any tips for increasing my “just go for it” mentality?

Ok. RJ here again. Wasn’t that great? I really love it when guys get breakthrough results following my advice.  Look at how much this guy has not only changed his actions in the world, but his orientation towards focusing on what he is doing right and how he can continue to get better at it.  That’s one hell of a shift from where he was.

I hope you will forgive my absence from this blog; I have been putting the finishing touches on a 5 module “Getting Up To Speed With Speed Seduction(R)” introductory video course on line for my Coaching Club members.

So I thought I’d get back on track by sharing this hour of teaching I did at a Styelife West Coast Conference.

(As you may know, Neil Strauss wrote about me in his best selling book, “The Game”)

I think it is important to recognize that mastering pick up and seduction requires more than just mastering anyone’s “field technology”.

It is also about mastering your motivation and using a learning strategy that allows you to stop dwelling on the past and to extract maximum information value from every interaction, even the ones that are potentially quite confusing.

As I point out in the video, it is not fear or anxiety that blocks most guys, but rather the confusion of not being able to quite figure out what happened in the sarge; are you progressing, or falling backwards?  Did the approach work or not work?

As you probably know by now, I’ve started a pretty awesome Coaching Program.

On a recent coaching call, a student who is a professional chef told me he was struggling with using language patterns.

I told him that since he was passionate about cooking and food, he ought to use that.  After all, chicks love food and eating and the sexual metaphors are just all over the place.

Well, he followed my advice, and here is what he posted in the member’s area of the coaching program. Enjoy:

Hello guys – I want to use this thread to post some patterns, openers, non sequators, etc…, that I have been using with suck-sess since Ross turned me on to a new approach in our very first coaching call! 

Real quickly I’ll fill you in – on coaching call #1 I explained to Ross that I was a professional Chef – and he immediately reacted telling me what a great asset I had and that I needed to start utilizing my passion for cooking and knowledge to interact with HB’s and just add in the proper SS language skills and a lot of sexual metaphor.

Well the next day it hit me like a ton of bricks falling on me – I thought to myself “Why in the hell didn’t you think of this before?” I was so wrapped up the last year in the SS, standard patterns, getting in state and NLP that I never even thought of implementing what was already a part of me. What a HUGE difference – because I am truly passionate about what I do the beauty of it is that when I begin talking about food and cooking I go into state myself – and I’ve noticed, now that Ross has made me so aware of vibes and energies, that women will pick up on the passionate state I’m in and actually want to share or join in on my vibe – it truly works like magic –

I strongly recommend if any of you are stuck or having any problem getting into the right state when interacting with women – lean on something you are already passionate about or something that excites you a lot – the state will come automatically and the HB’s will pick up on it! – I am very fortunate because I have yet to meet women who will not talk about food or cooking – especially with a Chef.

So I’m going to keep this thread continuing with some good patterns, openers, etc… and what I will do is translate them over for you guys that aren’t Chefs – into verse that you could use anyway. For those of you who aren’t Chefs I recommend using them in the following ways – 

1) Just be a guy who loves food and loves to cook – 

2) Tell a 3rd person story about a friend of yours who is a Chef

3) Talk about this Chef you saw on the internet who said…………

4) If you are a Chef than translating back to 1st person should come natural

OK – now before I get into any of the openers and patterns – I want to sort of play coach here – and what I’m going to do is give you the cart before the horse – and I have a good reason for that – you see in the field when I was coming up with these patterns I noticed how much sexual suggestion and content food and cooking naturally have – so I thought I had better come up with a good reaction when women pick up on it to early and say “Hey – your talking about sex!!” So I came up with an obstacle jumper and sure enough about a week later I had an HB in the grocery store say just that – sure enough I manifested my own future – but being a former military man I know that re-enforcements must be in place before the battle even begins – so here it is – I strongly suggest you have this weapon in your arsenal before you begin to use any of the patterns I place in this thread.

Reinforcement (This can be used when she brings up sexual content of any pattern your using)

Her: “Hey your talking about sex aren’t you?”

You: Stay quiet – look away from her as though your in deep thought for about 5 seconds – then look back at her and say “You know what – I never really thought about it but your right – you can relate this to sex – I never really recognized that – but I like the way you just did…(pause)….You know, if you can pull sexual content out of a subject like food or cooking…that tells me something about you…(pause)…that tells me you having a very creative and intelligent mind structure and I find that extremely attractive in a women…..Its just that intelligent women know exactly what they want and they usually want it right now because you know being decisive and aggressive is easy when your smart enough to do it now. We really owe it to ourselves to spend more time together enjoying this connection.. because there is nothing more stimulating than interacting and talking with an intelligent person”

The first time I used this on a young lady in the market she replied “You know I have a Boyfriend, but……and then she paused – while she paused I jumped in and said – “but you would really like to spend more time with me just talking and hanging out, enjoying this great connection we made and learning more about my passion for food and cooking and how I may be able to inject some of my passion into you?”

Result – Phone#, next day coffee – where I talked about wine – next day a wine bar – we had 1 glass of wine each – she paid – and then we had to go by her place to feed her cat! – Trust me the kitty got fed!!!!!More than once!

I love the above response so much sometimes I’m getting very sexual on purpose so the do say “Hey – your talking about sex” It throws the ball right back in their own court and actually gets them thinking they have the dirty mind and their the aggressor!!

Ok I’ll list a couple of food conversations now

My new Non SequatorYou should all know Ross’s non sequator “Are you a roller, folder or tosser?” that leads into a fantasy vacation – well I’ve switched it into a question that leads to food.

You: “Let me ask you a question – on a rooftop overlooking the city, in the woods next to a campfire or on a blanket at the beach?”

Her: “What are you talking about?”

You: “Lets say its six months from now – and I decided by now that I do like you – and we have a wonderful connection going – and then you could look back at say today as being the beginning of that connection, understand? So 6 months have gone by and your birthday is near and I decide you might deserve to have me cook for you……..after I prepare the most delicious, mouth watering meal that is going to stimulate all your senses and satisfy all your cravings……where do you want me to give it to you…on a rooftop overlooking the city, in the woods next to a campfire or on a blanket at the beach?”

Then you just let her start to go with it and you’re already in the whole fantasy with her.

My favorite grocery store opener

When you spot a hottie – watch for the next item she picks up and just say to her “Excuse me – how are you going to prepare that” – (I haven’t met one yet not nice enough to start explaining) then say “My dad lied to me it’s not true” and when she responds “what?” say “he always told me beautiful women didn’t know anything about food or cooking – you just proved him wrong” when she giggles I give her the “I’m just kidding – he didn’t say that – I’m glad you laughed though – I noticed you standing here and I wanted to meet the person wrapped in all that pretty – I’m glad I did, I’m Mickey”

Then I will say “But seriously I am a chef and I’m always very interested in how other people enjoy their food” and then I will just start interacting with her on the subject of food and how I prepare it and get the conversation going….then I use strong sexual suggestion in all my descriptions and stories about cooking.I’ll get into more canned patterns relating to specific food items on my next post to this thread.

Trust me they’re juicy, tender and just cum naturally!
