An Example Of The Monthly Answers To Students Video Module

Dear Speed Seduction(R) Fans And Students,

What you are about to watch here is an example of the kind of video update module I’m thinking of including the coaching program launching on October 30th.

I’m now considering doing not one, but  TWO video update modules a month.

One would be a purely instructional module where I pick a topic and go into detail teaching about it.

But the other monthly module would be a 4 part “answers to students” video.

I’d pick 4 students questions and spend 15 minutes per question, giving each student a custom designed personal video mini-coaching session/instructional module, which everyone will get to watch in the member’s area.

This is an example of a video answer for a student on the Speed Seduction(R) Yahoo group.  What I provide in the coaching program would look like this.

Here is the post he made to the group-he entitled it “Paralysis”:

“We all know the importance of “inner game,” and often the issues stem
from broader paradigms, our ways of thinking that reach beyond just
our interactions with women.

I’ve identified at least three mentalities that I believe are
detrimental to all aspects of my life, and which I would like to
totally eliminate. Maybe some of you can relate. These are:

1. Zero-sum mentality: Viewing life as some sort of a race. In this
mentality, you try to slow others down while getting ahead yourself.
Also, you try to estimate the return on the things that you do, and
determine your actions based on it. This is a terrible way to live.

2. Maximalist mentality: Trying to make the best possible choice in
every situation, putting in so much time and effort into evaluating
the alternatives to the point where you can’t make a decision.

3. Forecast mentality: Trying to predict the immediate and
far-reaching consequences of all your words and actions.

Having one of these can be crippling. Having multiple can be downright
paralyzing. I don’t really know why I decided to share this. Maybe
some of you will find it interesting.”

Guys, what do you think of the answers I gave him, and do you think this will be a valuable part of the coaching program?  Each module would include a transcript in PDF format and also the audio would be available for download, and also in iPod ready format.

Please give me your comments below(and share this with a friend!)

  1. Only one word: Phenomenal!

  2. Ross,

great stuff. you consistently deliver content that in meaningful and useful. I just wish the sound quality was better. There is this buzzing that distracts me.

  3. Ross, this kind of stuff is what separates you from everyone else out there. you are a gifted man. Please publish this.

  4. Thank you so much Ross. You’re a great teacher not only because you know your material, but because you also care about your students. You’re truly in a league of your own.

  5. Yes, I see it’s good to embrace the uncertainty, come to feel comfortable with it, and even thrive on it. As long as you maintain the right frame, it’s just a learning curve, an opportunity to test the waters, so to speak, and most importantly not to give away your power to the external situation, however it breaks for you. Also, I like the little bit on the 3 pathological mentalities; over analysis is a bad habit and certainly leads to confusion and paralysis in my experience. Any tips on mental exercises to break these pernicious habits, because clearly we need to make some kind of assessment on how an encounter/ event (or whatever) pans out, but how critical should we be with ourselves? Some degree of self-criticism is required, but how do we conduct this dialogue with ourselves to our best advantage? For example, how do we ensure that something is learned from an encounter, because if we can be sure of this, it takes off even more pressure, if you see what I mean!

  6. This is obv. the best thing you can find on the internet but Ross for gods sake… Have you ever had this feeling before buying a new piece of hardware.. like maybe after the thought of buying a new equipment somehow got into your head and then you started considering all the new possibilities that it would allow you to take advantage off maybe even up to the point where you could begin to see yourself using these new equipment to produce even better quality material for your students and then realizing it would directly translate to the number of potential customers?

  7. Ok, ok…I’ll do something about the backround buzzing..I think I need to use an external mic…easily done.

  8. Great stuff Ross! The idea for 4 15 min sessions is awesome because we can relate to the topic and our experience and draw from that.

May I suggest a split screen with your power point so your camera doesnt overlap on the background images so we can read the notes as you explain. Only sometimes it came over and across the background image. the rest was great.

  9. Love the video, Ross.

Understanding the importance of acceptance confidence is crucial for any new endeavor… but I have never seen this term used or this thorough of an explanation given.

I think the coaching program is going to be spectacular!

    keep smiling,

    ben

  10. Paul,

Gotcha. I’m still learning the program I’m using to present both the video commentary from me and the powerpoint. Will make it better….

You are correct about the 4, 15 minute video coaching sessions.

As I see it, the primary value of the coaching program works as follows:

    Live Recorded

    Coaching X X

    Instruction X X

Everything I offer will fit into that value matrix.

So for the video update modules, we’ll have two a month. One instructional, one coaching.

As for the two teleseminar calls, I’d like to make the emphasis of one to be instructional, but realistically, people will have their questions about their own situations, first and foremost. So I’ll most likely not restrict those calls in terms of subject/content.

P.S. I really do hope to shake and shock the entire seduction community Where else will the expert who created the system be so readily (and cheaply-$3 a day per month, give or take a few dimes) availavble to also be ongoing coach, mentor and instructor?

As I see it, the seduction community is “dead”, creatively and value wise. They either offer tons of recorded courses with NO feedback/instruction, or they offer a zillion bootcamps with so many different trainee instructors, you can’t possibly guarantee quality.

Or they have a variation of the “interview of the month cd/teleseminar/dvd” with the same damn “expert”, and again, no real instruction. mentorship, or even feedback.

Well, fuck all of them. I’m out to take it back and put them all out of business, or force them to come up to my level. And we all know they won’t…or can’t.

  11. Ok, I’ve got the sound problem licked…I was using the built in mic for the laptop and it was picking up the noise from the machine’s hard drive. Got a new Snowball external mic, so that problem is solved.

Thanks for the quality control feedback, guys!

  12. I agree with what you are saying with the seduction community.
Especially here in the Philippines, they are just recycling ideas from some gurus who are probably one of your secret students.
Me, I learned from the Father of Seduction and my ways are different if not better.
Now I am creating my own system Pabling, that responds well with the culture and environment here in our country at this modern times and I thank you for being my teacher.
    You influenced me a lot.
I tried to learn other methods but as we can see it yours is the best.
I hope the scientific community can see this and gives you the Nobel Prize you deserve to have.
    Good day and God speed.

    Glory and Power,
    Sej
